My super green vegetable NOSH cleanse

I was incredibly curious about NOSH Detox after seeing them everywhere and hearing an awful lot about the juice and vegetable cleanses they've become so famous for that I had to experience it for myself to see if all the hype was worth the intensity of a scary three day cleanse...

As you'll know from reading my posts of late I'm definitely a huge green juice fan, I love making them, I love drinking them and most importantly I love the amazing and instant effect they have on my body and skin. NOSH takes this to a new level, a level I wasn't totally sure I was capable of. I know I must sound like a bit of a scaredy Kat right now but I'm such a foodie that the thought of only consuming juice for three whole days had me feeling sceptical but as I'm very much into and interested in alkaline living I had to challenge myself to this and my digestive system the rest it probably deserved...


My NOSH organic vegetable cleanse consisted of the following vegetable packed drinks each day for three days; 


1 Lemon & Ginger Tonic – Kick-start your digestion in the morning (I LOVED this, perfect way to kickstart the day)


4 bottles of Super Green Vegetable Juice (500ml):

Spinach, Avocado, Mango, Apple - Anti-inflammatory to boost your energy

- Vitamin A, Vitamin E & Vitamin C rich as well as magnesium and calcium
- These nutrients work in synergy inside your body i.e Your body will uptake Vitamin E more efficiently with natural antioxidant Vitamin C

Kale, Celery, Banana, Mandarin – Powerhouse of super greens to replenish and restore
211 Kcal
- Vitamin A, Vitamin K & Vitamin C rich as well as manganese and potassium
- Vitamin K is an important for healthy blood function

Broccoli, Parsley, Avocado, Peach- Cleansing, healing and regenerating

- Vitamin A, Vitamin B, E & Vitamin C rich as well as Folic Acid
- Folic Acid is an important factor in DNA replication so great for cellular renewal

Courgette, Pineapple, Mint – Fat eliminator and lowest in calories

FEEDBACK 

After three days of my intense veg cleanse I was feeling amazingly lighter, my skin was noticeably more radiant and glowing and all in all was feeling great!- I think it definitely does your digestive system the world of good and I would recommend this cleanse prior to a big event, holiday or special occasion so you're feeling your best and lightest!Or if you want to lose weight and need a serious kick-start then I would suggest doing this or the fruit juice cleanse to get your body into action and to properly detoxify it. 

My favourite juices were definitely the Lemon & Ginger Tonic first thing in the morning, such a great way to start the day and sets you on the right track. I also really enjoyed the morning juice of Spinach, Avocado, Mango and Apple- so tasty! 

I must admit I did struggle on the evening of day 1 and 3, I found the evenings most difficult and more of a challenge because its the only time in my day for down time so it made it think about food and naughty treats but I overcame this by snacking on a few nuts, seeds and fat-free greek yogurt (only very small portions just to take the edge off!). I know in a way this defeats the object but I'm a firm believer in listening to your body and being kind to yourself so if you're craving like crazy something you should allow yourself to have it- theres no point in suffering for the sake of losing a few pounds, but at the same time trying your best to be as good as possible whilst on the cleanse to get the best results is key. I think I managed to balance it well and had great results from my NOSH vegetable cleanse. If you're determined that you want to shed a few pounds and give your body a rest and proper detox then I would most definitely recommend this cleanse, buy yours here.
