I'm writing this on the 29th December after what I can only describe as the most magical and perfect (25th) birthday and Christmas I've probably ever had! I know after each and every lovely experience we have it's easier than ever to name as 'the best one ever' but in all honestly I've felt truly blessed and genuinely filled with happiness this past week - as soppy and Cringy as that might (probably) sounds to some of you!

Kicking my birthday celebrations off at the stunning ESPA life at Corinthia and a delicious breakfast at the Wolseley hotel, followed by a family christmas in my second favourite city in the world, Paris has been non other than EPIC and has given me lots of time to reflect on the past year and mentally prepare myself for another extraordinary year ahead and I'm feeling recharged and very excited for what 2015 will bring!

BOOK OF THE MONTH (YEAR!)- 'Pretty Honest' by Sali Hughes has made me wonder what on earth I was doing waiting all this time to read this bible of beauty! Its by far the BEST book EVER and any beauty obsessed girl, or just anyone with any remote interest in beauty in any capacity absolutely NEEDS this is their lives. Need I say more?!

How perfect is this travel (and handbag) sized Chanel Chance EDT?... I love how easy it is to just twist and spray on the go! I always feel the glass bottled version is too heavy and bulky to carry around with me so now I can carry my signature scent with me wherever I go!

I know deodorant is a pretty basic and standard beauty product that we don't feel the need to discuss in any great detail but I suffer from very sensitive underarms so when I discovered this roll-on deodorant by Clarins I was thrilled as it not only keeps me dry and fresh all day (dependent on level of activity of course), it smells so lovely and looks nice in my bathroom too- bonus!I think it must be the Witch Hazel, Buchu Leaf and Rosemary that works so well to regulate the flow of perspiration as it really is SO good!

I ADORE Porter magazine. Each and every issue fills me with hope and reassurance and always leaves me inspired and refreshed. The Winter Escape issue hasn't failed to disappoint and whilst away in Paris over Christmas I fully threw myself and my mind into it and felt great for it! I recommend you read Cathy Horyn's article 'What does it take to walk away'- its a goodie!

DISCOVERY OF THE MONTH (this will change your 2015)

Headspace is by far my most useful and mindful find this year and I'm so pleased I found it before the beginning of a new year starts, I have a feeling it could help all aspects of life in a very positive way.
To summarise Headspace is a meditation app that helps train your mind, (imagine it like a gym membership for the mind). Try it now for free by downloading the 'Take 10' app, it gives you 10 mins of Headspace meditation exercises a day that teaches you to clear your mind by finding some headspace resulting in a happier, healthier more focused you! I've tried the first four days and after the short 10 min sessions I've instantly felt refreshed and recharged- I know its a mind of matter type thing but anything that helps to clear your mind and keep you feeling focused, motivated and good about yourself is surely worth investing in? I urge you to watch the animated video link below it helps to explain how Headspace can help you and your life- I've been thinking about meditating for a while now so I'm so happy to find an enjoyable, easy and quick way to integrate this into my life!

On the morning of my Birthday I was taken to The Wolseley for breakfast and WOW is my feedback in one word! It was dressed so beautifully for Christmas with elegant lights and a tree above the iconic Wolseley clock where our table was so perfectly placed. I felt like we were in an old New York 1920's film, it was a beautiful setting to celebrate and the food was delicious too! I ordered salmon, scrambled eggs and coffee- I'll definitely be going back I have a feeling it might just be one of our new favourite London weekend hang-outs.

My BEAUTIFUL new Russell & Bromley shoes are my biggest new fashion LOVE! These 'Grosvenor Double Monk Flats' will walk me into a fabulous new year ahead, theres nothing better than a lovely pair of shiny new shoes to kick start the year ahead (pardon the pun)! I love the gold hardware and patent leather detail, they look so luxe with skinny high-waisted jeans and a leather jacket and also my tartan green skirt and tights!

This gorgeous gold bar ring my new jewellery brand ALEXI is my newest addition to my ever-growing jewellery collection so naturally I had to share it with you! For £26 I think its great value for money and comes in the most gorgeous packing too- ideal for a special gift! Head over to the site now and check out the whole collection theres so many great finds!
