Christopher Raeburn is one of my favourite fashion designers, I loved his last collection and this A/W collection absolutely nailed it. Raeburn's functional and iconic outerwear was heavier than ever in his women's collection...I adored his use of military style zips, drawstring and loved the pocket detailing.
Barely there beauty...
The models on the catwalk embraced natural faces which just made Raeburn's wonderful pieces shine even brighter allowing them to take the centre stage. As mentioned in my previous Tom Ford post, less is more when it comes to A/W trends and after seeing it for myself at fashion week it just proves natural is the way.
Three words to describe Raeburn's Aura A/W 14 Collection....
- Animals - both fur and prints
- Exploration- Every single model that walked down the runway at this show shouted out girl explorer the colours, the detailing and the fabrics.
- Backpacks- already a must-have at the moment and clearly a long lasting trend. Ranging from fur, fur fronted and leather print. Definitely on my wish list!
A huge thank you to the beautiful Lauren at Penhaligon's for such a wonderful time at London Fashion Week! xx
