February Beauty Essentials

Saturday, 1 February 2014

So January is OVER...thank goodness!! It was probably the most dull, boring and unglamorous month of the year and if you're anything like me you've been spending the month planning holidays to go on, makeup to buy and fun trips to organise! So I've put together a list of MUST HAVE February essentials that are all guaranteed to inject some beauty happiness into your life!

Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet for a popping pout

This popping red is exactly what you need to add glamour and sexiness to any outfit this February. Especially if like me your wardrobe is fifty shades of black at the moment, stunning red lips act as almost an accessory to your look. Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet in La Precieuse.

Bobbi Brown's Nude Glow Collection to brighten up your look

New year...new you...new Nude Glow Collection, by Bobbi Brown. This lovely new collection will instantly brighten up your look creating a pretty glowing and healthy looking complexion, exactly what we need to start the new year off with. I'm particularly in love with the brightening finishing powder in Bronze Glow - I'm feeling rather pasty at the moment so this adds some much needed colour in a totally gorgeous and natural way. To add some depth to your dewy complexion try the limited edition sheer lip colour in Pink Rose, its dreamy!

Dr.Hauschkas Rose Day Cream for a super hydrated and sweet smelling complexion

I've recently reviewed the entire Dr.Hauschkas skincare range and adore the products so much so that I had to include it again in my February Essentials guide, it's just wonderful and gives you an instant feminine lift! There's thirty real roses in every tube of this day cream- how amazing is that!! It's the perfect moisturiser to start and end your February days.

A Life with a View home fragrance collection will fill your home with scented warmth and happiness

The view outside may look cold, wet and miserable but this sweet smelling collection of home fragrances will inject warmth and wellbeing into your home filling your space with harmony. I've loved using my travel candle during my Christmas travels it was perfect to take to Paris with me and burn whilst I got ready in the mornings and to relax me after busy days. I recommend 'A View of Italy- The Villa' it smells delightful and just hearing the name of it takes me away to glorious italian summer days, click here for the full range.

Clinique's NEW Moisture Surge CC Cream will be your multi-tasking best friend!

Like silk to the skin, Clinique's newly launched CC Cream is an absolute DREAM! Goodbye foundation during these cold months and HELLO Moisture Surge CC Cream- you will wonder what you did without it. Multitasking to ensure your face is hydrated, well and truly covered from imperfections and injecting goodness into your pores...need I say more?!

Golden Goddess by Charlotte Tilbury
This luxury palette gives your entire look a complete golden makeover, in just a few simple sweeps of eyeshadow! I've been addicted to this eyeshadow palette by my makeup artist idol, Charlotte Tilbury its works perfectly for blondes too just the right balance of goldeness without too much shimmer - totally divine.  Watch this space for my full review on the Charlotte Tilbury range.

Q body spray will be your Gym Bag Hero

This new line of body sprays are my new deodorant love. I don't usually get very excited about deodorants and have always stuck to Mitchum as its always done the job but after being introduced to this brand I'm now hooked! It's a balance between high-end fragrance and sense active deodorant. Q is the sophisticated choice to leave you feeling fresh and rejuvenated straight from the gym. Available at Sainsbury's, Boots and ASOS.

Hope everyone has a wonderful February...watch this space for my winter time home luxuries coming soon to The Beauty Room! xx

  1. I'm lusting after a Charlotte Tilbury eye palette so much, the only problem is I've seen so many I love I wouldn't know which one to pick!
