Relax in Bath...

Wednesday, 11 May 2011

There’s simply no better way to spend the summer weekends than paying a visit to the beautifully historic spas that the wonderful city of Bath has to offer.
Luckily good weather has been predicted for the next few months, which is a bonus when visiting the spa’s as the Cross Bath is completely out in the open as you can see from the picture below. If however, it should rain, then you can still enjoy the Thermal spa as most of it is enclosed.

To make the most of your spa experience you can take a break and go along in your robe to enjoy some of the light refreshments that the cafe has to offer, whilst soaking up its comfortable surroundings.
Decide for yourself which spa fits in with your weekend schedule, as the Cross Bath is great for a short relaxation fix (each session lasting for an hour and a half), however if you have more time on your hands then treat yourself to a whole day of pampering and spa treatments that the Thermae spa has available, all designed to ease and sooth the body and mind.
The Thermae day spa contains Britain’s only natural thermal waters, so enjoy and indulge in the mineral enriched waters just like the Romans did over 2000 years ago; it really is a great experience.
The Thermae Spa has many packages to choose from, which include use of the spa, robes and slippers and treatments such as; Aromatherapy massage, Hot Stone therapy, Facials and many more. Be sure to book in advance for treatment packages as they tend to get booked up fairly quickly.
If it’s a special occasion, possibly a birthday, hen night or maybe just a girls weekend then you can hire the Cross Bath for a private party for up to twelve guests, for £150, special parties can be catered for at the pool side, giving your party that little bit extra.

All in all I highly recommend a visit to Bath Spa’s, it’s the perfect way to spend your summer weekends.
